Privacy Policy

You can use CS2Skins.com without an account. We never ask for your name, your Steam ID or your Steam login, and the site has no sign-in.

We collect a small amount of information in three ways:

• Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our servers record requests in logs: your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the page that referred you and the pages you request. This includes the marketplace links you follow through our redirect (see below).
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages and features are used. It sets cookies and sends usage events to Google.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the Site
• Understand how the Site is used and improve it
• Measure how often marketplace links are used, which supports our referral partnerships
• Answer your messages
• Keep the Site secure and find and prevent abuse

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Prices on the Site link to third-party marketplaces: the Steam Community Market, CSFloat and LIS-SKINS. These links pass through a short redirect on our site (/ext/…) so we can count which items and placements are used. The redirect records the item, where on the page you clicked, and the technical information described above.

Links to CSFloat and LIS-SKINS include our referral code. If you buy something there, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Once you arrive on a marketplace, its own privacy policy applies; we receive no information about what you do there beyond what the referral program reports to us.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures site usage. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• CS2 Inspects provides our item data and the 3D viewer. The viewer loads from 3dview.cs2inspects.com in an embedded frame, and only when you open it; while it is open, the CS2 Inspects Privacy Policy applies to it.
• Item images are delivered through our own servers, and our fonts are hosted on our own domain, so viewing the catalog does not send requests from your browser to image or font providers.
• Hosting providers run the servers the Site operates on.

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. CS2Skins.com itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart.

If you choose a language, we remember it in your browser's local storage (cs2skins-language). It never leaves your device.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on. The Site works fully without cookies.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above who help us operate the Site, and only as needed for them to do so. We may also release information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to enforce our Terms of Service or protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.

We keep server logs only as long as we need them to operate and secure the Site. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting of our Analytics property, after which Google deletes it. We keep emails for as long as we need them to answer and follow up on your message.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and the Site is served over encrypted connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict how we use it. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond after verifying the request. Information already sent to Google Analytics is subject to Google's retention and deletion processes.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. Please review it periodically.
